The floating pellets do not cloud the water, making it easy to watch your fancy koi as they eat. At each feeding, feed only as much as your koi can consume in about 5 to 10 minutes. Feed more frequently in small amounts rather than less frequently in large amounts. Do not overfeed. Each feeding will vary in size according to the number and size of your koi and the water temperature. Water temperatures above 50F (10C) will increase your koi's appetite, so feed at least two or three times per day. When the water is cooler, do not feed or feed only once at midday, when the water is warmest.
