Detailed Description for PROKURA Calf Oral-Lyte 115 g. Foil pouch PROKURA® CALF ORAL-LYTE (oral electrolytes with vitamins
and minerals) is ideal for newly arriving or highly stressed calves or foals.
It is designed to increase the absorption of water, an energy source, electrolytes
and essential vitamins for quick recovery. Use at the first signs of scouring
and as a follow-up treatment for dehydrated animals.
Characteristics:

Suggested Feeding Guide:
MIXING DIRECTIONS:
Mix one (1) packet of PROKURA® CALF ORAL-LYTE into one
(1) quart of water.
DEHYDRATION: Administer orally at the rate of 1 quart per 80
pounds of body weight 3-4 times per day for two (2) days.
Discontinue milk or milk replacer during this time. For the following
two (2) days, dilute the solution at a rate 1:1 with milk replacer and
given at feeding time.
TRANSPORT: Feed two (2) PROKURA® CALF ORAL-LYTE
prepared as directed, instead of milk as the first feed upon arrival.
For the next scheduled feeding dilute PROKURA Calf Oral-Lyte at a
rate of 1:1 with milk or milk replacer.
